National Trust set to recycle with Envirobanks National Trust has set up recycling facilities at one of their attractions in the South-West. Stourhead in Wiltshire recently invested in Envirobanks for plastic bottles, glass bottles, cans and general waste in a traditional heritage green colour to enable their visitors to the majestic mansion house and gardens to recycle.

The Palladian mansion near Warminster is set in a2650 acre site and attracts thousands of visitors a year. So many visitors to the site means a lot of waste going to landfill. To preserve the environment and National Trust reputation, the manager of Stourhead decided to set in place recycling facilities for the multitude of picnickers.

After careful research, Tamsin Holmes, Environmental Practices Coordinator at Stourhead approached Leafield Environmental due to the quality and aesthetics of their products. Tamsin commented “I selected Leafield above their competitors as they were able to provide the suitable size and look for the bin we required. We chose the Envirobank for its 140 litre capacity and were able to ‘personalise’ it in a Heritage Green colour with our logo to match the National Trust identity. We also strongly believe in using local products and services, Leafield fit the bill in this respect too”.
